No 60/40 application deadline

13/04/2020

The application deadline for the 60/40 scheme is no longer available

in connection with the changes made to the Law on Measures and Actions during the State of Emergency, announced by a decision of the National Assembly of 13 March 2020, as well as the forthcoming amendments to the Decree No. 55 / 30.03.2020, the Employment Agency informs all interested employers that the deadline (April 21, 2020) for submitting an application for payment of compensation under Decree №55 is abolished. The change was made to allow more business representatives to benefit from the 60/40 scheme under the new conditions.

Without setting a deadline, the Employment Agency continues to accept applications and documents for payment of compensation under Decree No. 55 / 30.03.2020, recalling that they are submitted to the Labor Office Directorate servicing the territory under the place of work of the employees regardless of the method of submission.

It is recommended that the documents be submitted electronically through the Secure Electronic Service System (CESE), signed with a qualified electronic signature (QES). Documents can also be submitted through a licensed postal operator and only if it is impossible to use these two ways - by visiting the employment office.
